Meet Sifu Bodhi
For over twenty-five years, Bodhi Batista has been motivating and educating people of all ages, to lead healthier lives by building stronger, healthier bodies. He has formal training in Sociology and Kinesiology from The University of Western Ontario combined with a number of fitness consulting certifications, including the American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.). He is a certified Medical Qigong Practitioner with the International Institute of Medical Qi Gong, as well as holding an honours degree in Acupuncture from the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Bodhi has over three decades of training in martial arts and eastern philosophy. He holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is recognized as a 12 Generation North Shaolin Taiji Mantis Kung Fu Master as well as being the 2019 Canadian Kung fu Champion.

Bodhi is the owner of a thriving Traditional Chinese Medical Clinic in Toronto, Canada called Bodhi Acupuncture & Wellness, which focuses on pain relief, digestive regulation and mental wellness. He combines both western and Eastern philosophies of health, fitness and nutrition to treat and to teach his patients how to heal themselves. In addition, he teaches, tutors and mentors for the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Bodhi Batista is the creator of Zen Stretch Moving Meditation, whose instructional DVDs have sold around the world for the past 17 years, as well as the newly launched Bodhi Medical Qigong program and App which has appeared several times on Apple’s “Top 100 health and fitness Apps”. Through his years of tireless work with the public, Bodhi’s patients and students have come to trust and depend on his diverse wealth of knowledge in all aspects of health, nutrition, flexibility, muscular conditioning, philosophy, meditation, and martial arts.
